Old Favorites...

Hey… everyone… Hope you guys are all having a great day…

Just thought I would share some of my old projects with you…  I have not painted anything for a couple of years… just got burnt out on painting and started making greeting cards….

So I wanted to share with you some of my favorite projects… I don’t have pictures of most of my projects as I paint them and give them away and forget to take a picture first…  I will learn one of these days.... take a picture then give them away...

Here is one of my all time favorite projects… This is an oil painting I did several years ago with Sherry Nelson, MDA.  She is a fabulous teacher.  I learned so much in her class.  I just love this piece.

Here are a couple of projects I painted at the 2010 Las Vegas Painting Convention:

This is a really neat Oil Painting.  “The War Pony” taught by Rose Starling.  This is very unique as it was painted on a drum.

This Acrylic painting is called “Frosty Kisses” and was taught by Karen Hubbard, CDA.  Isn’t it cute...?

Hmmm... wonder if you guys and see a theme here... can you tell that I really like to paint realistic animals...?  Well, that is all for now.  I just wanted to show you some of my favorite projects.

Getting Started...

So... Here goes...

I am starting a Blog... never thought I would do this but... here I am....

I try to be funny and you know... that does not always work so I figured it would be better to just stick to being Creative...

I inherited all of my "Creative Talent" from my Mom... Ernestine L. Ramirez....  everything she touched whether it was plants... material... or  yarn.... if she was making something... it always came out beautiful...

So... my new blog will be used to share my latest creations with the world... ha..ha... OK... in reality maybe only a hand-full of people....

A few years ago I got back into rubber stamping and card making after several years away from that medium...  when I was creating stuff on my own I started out kind of boring.... but about a year ago... my cards started to look like something I would want to share....

Here is a great Snowman Card from 2010... my buddy Susan helped me with the layout... this card was stamped using #120 Miss Holly clear stamp from Plum Purdy Designs by Renee' Mullins and acrylic paint to fill in the snowman...

Here is another card from 2011... I used French Foliage stamps from Stampin' Up.... looks pretty classy... ha.. ha... I don't usually get this fancy but... I guess I am turning a corner in my creative process...

Well... just wanted to get my feet wet.... that is all for today....  I have other cards that I will be sharing in the next few days.... until then.... everyone be safe....
